HCC Christmas Extravaganza

Posted on Posted in News and events

Our Christmas Cafe service was a great success on Sunday, approaching 150 people came along! There were turkeys, sheep, even an alpaca out on the forecourt.  Bacon rolls, cake and refreshments were enjoyed by our many guests, the children enjoyed collecting stickers in 5 zones around the centre to create a nativity scene and our ‘pop-up’ choir did us proud as they sang a variety of carols and Christmas songs.  The tables were packed with people enjoying the atmosphere and meeting with friends.

    1. Hi Rachel! No, we’re not doing a live nativity on the market square this year. However, on Sunday 17th, we will have a number of live animals at the front of church centre at 83a High Street from 10am-12.30pm. This will be part of our Christmas cafe open morning with lots of activities inside the building – craft, kids games, food, the odd song, etc. You and your family would be very welcome at that – as would the rest of the town!! That’s the event that this poster is advertising!
