We're delighted to have just finished a major piece of refurbishment of the downstairs interior at 83a - our 2 meeting rooms and the corridors. The place has been transformed!
The larger, front meeting room now has a new ceiling with modern, dimmable lighting; a new PA and AV system, with ceiling mounted projector and wall -mounted speakers. Complete redecoration has taken place, with the carpet floor being replaced by modern wooden laminate flooring.
The corridors have been given a new look and feel as well! Redecoration of the walls and ceilings, together with installation of a new dark oak flooring are the centrepiece of the transformation. New chairs which serve all the rooms downstairs are positioned in waiting areas in the corridors.
Our more intimate meeting room to the back, which was already equipped with e TV, sofas, and soft, low chairs, had received new carpet tiles.
In addition to these very obvious changes, a number of other changes have been made to the building including upgrading of the alarms, a new boiler, and improvements to the outside lighting.
We acknowledge and give thanks to Amey Community Fund and WREN's FCC Community Action Fund for their generous grant contributions which have made this work possible.
