Sundays

Most Sundays we meet at Cromwell Academy, Cromwell Drive, Hinchingbrooke, Huntingdon, PE29 6JA, at 10am for our main service.

Some Sundays during the year, we meet for ‘Forest Church’ at the Countryside Centre, Hinchingbrooke Park, at 10am, and then in the evening for a time of Worship at our town centre premises, 83a High Street, Huntingdon, PE29 3DP.

The location of our meeting for the following Sunday will always be signposted on the home page of the website.

Our meetings vary as follows:

  • The meetings at Cromwell include sung praise and worship, prayer, and a talk on an aspect of the Christian faith. There is opportunity for personal ministry, and of course fellowship with other church members. There is a programme for children and youth; the kids leave the main meeting part way through the worship and rejoin us at the end. There is also a parent led creche for children under 4 years; we ask that one parent stays with their child when using the creche. The meetings normally last until around 11.20am.

  • ‘Forest Church’ is church in a more informal setting. It is a chance for all ages to explore the Christian faith outside with activities, games, reflections, fun, prayer spaces, food and creativity. Although primarily aimed at children and families, there are activities for adults too. It aims to be a relaxed setting in which newcomers can meet others over a coffee and talk about the church and the Christian faith. Forest Church lasts about an hour. Please remember to allow time for parking your car.

  • The Worship Evening is an unhurried opportunity to come before God, to worship Him and receive, to minister to others and to just dwell in His presence. These meetings have a very open agenda – they are just an opportunity to be ourselves before God. Sometimes we take communion in these times. The meeting starts at 7.30pm and lasts around an hour and a half.
