Huntingdonshire Community Church accept the Holy Scriptures as the revealed will of God, the all-
WE BELIEVE the Bible (that is the Old and New Testaments, excluding the Apocrypha) to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God and that it is the all-
WE BELIEVE in the unity of the one true and living God, eternally existent and revealed in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE in the eternal deity and the true humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous ministry, death upon the Cross, bodily resurrection, triumphant ascension, abiding intercession, and His personal and bodily future return for the Church.
WE BELIEVE that man was created good, but fell into sin, which has resulted in death upon all mankind, and that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the blood of Christ.
WE BELIEVE that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
WE BELIEVE that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body and deliverance from demonic bondage in answer to believing prayer.
WE BELIEVE that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, are available to all believers who ask for them.
WE BELIEVE in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
WE BELIEVE in the unity of the body of Christ, the Church, being born again by the Holy Spirit, and in the offices and ministries set by God in the Church and revealed in the New Testament.
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
WE BELIEVE in baptism of believers by full immersion in water, following evidence of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and repentance from sin, as a necessary public declaration of new life.
WE BELIEVE in the Lord’s Supper or breaking of bread, regularly observed, as a remembrance of the death of the Lord Jesus Christ and a symbol of God’s covenant.
